1971: Established Samhwa Lube Oil Co., Ltd. 

1986: Completed construction of Wonju Plant No. 1

1995: Began exporting cold rolling aluminum oil and additives (FDA-approved)

2015: Renamed to SHL Co., Ltd.

2016: Established SHL HITECH Co., Ltd. in Thailand

           Established SHL ASEAN Co., Ltd. in My Xuan, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Vietnam

           Opened SHL ASEAN Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

2017: Opened Representative Office in Hanoi and Warehouse in Hung Yen, Vietnam

2018: Achieved QCVN 14:2018 certification for engine oil

2019: Certified with ISO 9001:2015

2021: Honored as one of Korea’s oldest and most reputable companies

2022: Expanded product exports to five ASEAN countries: Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Malaysia

2023: Constructed third manufacturing plant in My Xuan, Vietnam. Expanded product exports to seven ASEAN countries, adding Indonesia and East Timor
